My Theme Park Trips for the rest of the year! 🎢

 2025 has been an amazing year for not just my theme park journey but for the industry as a whole. Despite many closures, a lot of downtime and bad news, this season has been filled with amazing announcements, new rides & attractions, updates and positive change. It’s also October 1st which means it’s officially spooky season 🎃👻. Scarefest started last week and the event looks great and I can’t wait to experience it, which is the focus of this blog. As the UK theme park season slowly begins to close, I have a few trips left for this year so now I’m going to share them. However these may change and new trips might come up. If so, I’ll update the blog. 

👻 First of all I’ll be heading of the THORPE PARK FRIGHT NIGHTS this Sunday, the 5th. I cannot wait for this trip. Of course, I’ll be doing all of my favourite rides and attractions but I will also be experiencing my 3RD Fright Nights event which looks bigger and better for 2025 with the debut of a new scare zone- Purgatory Town- and of course many other changes to the event which I can wait to experience. It will also be my first time in all of the Thorpe mazes which is incredible but I’ll also be meeting my friends which is beyond exciting! I should post a review a few days after with my thoughts on the event and what it has to offer. 

🎃 Next Sunday, the 12th I will also (hopefully) be visiting Alton Towers Scarefest! This event also looks incredible this year with the debut of a new maze & scare zone. Despite mixed reception, I’ll be heading inside the Forest and giving my thoughts on the attraction. Dark Hollow also looks very eerie and of course all of the other attractions and mazes and the event look amazing. I’ll once again be meeting new people which is something I love about the theme park community. And of course, I’ll be getting on all my favourite rides including Nemesis Reborn, Smiler and hopefully Toxicator at night 🌙

🎆 My final somewhat confirmed trip of 2025 will be Alton Towers Fireworks! After experiencing the Phalanx Expo show from last year (my first fireworks) I cannot wait for this event this year. Unsure of dates just yet but the show will hopefully be just as incredible as last years show! Some of the best fireworks I’ve ever seen so I’m intrigued for this years show and of course to get some more night rides in before the season unfortunately comes to an end! 

Should be some more blogs coming out soon (hopefully) and of course a review from Scarefest & Fright Nights should be released soon! Can’t wait to experience these events/parks as we slowly say goodbye to the 2025 theme park season!

  Welcome to the first DKS Theme Park Blog   I’m Dhillon and I’m a theme park enthusiast and have been for many years. My love for theme parks first started when my parents would take me to theme parks when i was younger, but it was a trip to Alton Towers in 2017 with my dad that would change everything. Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2025 🎃👻

  Fright Nights RETURNS to Thorpe park this Halloween on selected dates from the 3rd October until the 2nd November. Apart from a terrifying new scare zone and other changes, this years lineup remains similar to previous years. Despite this, the event looks very promising and of course scary! Prepare to take on 4 horrifying scare mazes, 2 deadly scare zones and a range of shows & entertainment as well as rides in the dark on some of the parks most iconic attractions including HYPERIA!  Deadbeat, Stitches, Survival Games & Trailers will all be returning, forming this years maze lineup. At Deadbeat, new missing posters & condemned notices have been spotted around the maze which could be hinting at a storyline change for 2025?
