Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2025 Review πŸŽƒ

Image
I visited Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2025 on Sunday 5th and i genuinely had the best day I think I’ve ever had at a theme park. In this blog I’ll be reviewing and mainly focusing on the fright nights attractions at this years event apart from one- It 4D. I didn’t not get to experience this attraction and therefore cant give a review on it. However I did experience everything else, so I’ll review them in this blog.  The first scare attraction for the day was TRAILERS! This maze debuted back in 2021 for the events 20th anniversary. In recent years, it’s had a few new scenes added throughout. As you enter the SuperSpark Cinema, the horror movies come alive and you step inside of them. This was my second ever scare maze I’ve ever done so I was nervous going in. However, I really enjoyed the maze. The mix of different characters, vibes and scenes throughout was great and I loved how it callled back to some older fright nights attractions such as Platform 15, Creak Freak Massacre a...

My Theme Park Trips for the rest of the year! 🎒

2025 has been an amazing year for not just my theme park journey but for the industry as a whole. Despite many closures, a lot of downtime and bad news, this season has been filled with amazing announcements, new rides & attractions, updates and positive change. It’s also October 1st which means it’s officially spooky season πŸŽƒπŸ‘». Scarefest started last week and the event looks great and I can’t wait to experience it, which is the focus of this blog. As the UK theme park season slowly begins to close, I have a few trips left for this year so now I’m going to share them. However these may change and new trips might come up. If so, I’ll update the blog.  πŸ‘» First of all I’ll be heading of the THORPE PARK FRIGHT NIGHTS this Sunday, the 5th. I cannot wait for this trip. Of course, I’ll be doing all of my favourite rides and attractions but I will also be experiencing my 3RD Fright Nights event which looks bigger and better for 2025 with the debut of a new scare zone- Purgator...

Scarefest returns to the Alton Towers Resort in a months time with 2 NEW scare attractions for 2025! This years event features many changes and updates to the lineup and the event runs on selected dates from the 27th September - 2nd November which is the earliest start that Scarefest has ever had in its 19 year history! So let’s explore what’s new and what’s returning in the lineup for this year… NEW FOR 2025! Edge Of The Forest: A Dark Forest Story. This BRAND NEW Maze debuting at the park this year will follow the story of the Leshwall creature who is taking over the Forest. The maze will be located on the path between the Towers & Dark Forest where Darkest Depths was located previously. Edge Of The Forest: A Dark Forest Story- New Scare Maze at Alton Towers Scarefest 2025 πŸͺΎπŸ‘

This Morning, Alton Towers announced their BRAND NEW SCARE MAZE coming to Scarefest for 2025!  Edge Of The Forest: A Dark Forest Story is the name and the maze will be located where Darkest Depths was in previous years, on the path between the Towers & Dark Forest. This maze will be themed all around the Dark Forest & Th13teen similar to the NEW SCARE ZONE- Dark Hollow! However, the maze will have a different story as in the announcement video, there looks to be a cabin within the forest and a big creature known as a Leshwall who is taking over.  This Leshwall creature looks to be the main “threat” within the maze. Within the teaser, theres loads of other parts to take note of. People being “possessed” by this creature, the car from a previous teaser video and loads of other small details and clues as to what this maze will be like.  Edge Of The Forest: A Dark Forest Story will join Compound & Altonville Mine Tours: Tiny’s Revenge to form the maze lineup for 2...

Dark Hollow- NEW Scare Zone coming to Alton Towers Scarefest 2025! πŸͺΎ

Dark Hollow is the BRAND NEW SCARE ZONE coming to the Alton Towers Resort for Scarefest in 2025! This new scare zone will be themed around the Dark Forest & Th13teen and will be located within the Dark Forest area of the park. Within the announcement video from the park, the “Th13teen Girl” character ,who was used within the marketing and adverts from when Th13teen originally opened back in 2010, is the main focus. Throughout, she uses a teapot and a teddy bear which could be featured within the zone alongside the car from other teaser videos. However, this isn’t the first time the characters from the Dark Forest lore have been at Scarefest as a very similar attraction called Nox Infernus debuted at Scarefest 2015 and followed the same theme of the Dark Forest characters & theme. Unfortunately the zone didn’t return for 2016 so it’s nice to see the zone return in a similar fashion. The characters were also at the event in 2010 & 2011 in the TH13TEEN: After Dark attraction. ...

My First Blog

Welcome to the first DKS Theme Park Blog   I’m Dhillon and I’m a theme park enthusiast and have been for many years. My love for theme parks first started when my parents would take me to theme parks when i was younger, but it was a trip to Alton Towers in 2017 with my dad that would change everything. After my visit to the park and my first ever theme park hotel stay, i became so invested in theme parks and began learning everything about them. From ride models to manufacturers to the different ride types, I learnt everything i could about theme parks, rides & attractions and that’s when i became an enthusiast. Ever since, I’ve visited multiple theme parks every year, learnt even more and made friends within the community from it. This is why Alton Towers is one of my favourite theme parks in the world. It’s not just about the park, it’s how without it I probably wouldn’t be who i am today and that makes the park so special to me. Some of my favourite moments being...
